Thanks so much for confirming your request for a voucher to have a frame serviced for free at Frame Depot. Your Voucher is on the way to you via e mail. All you have to do is print your voucher and present it along with the frame that you would like to have serviced and we’ll take care of it.
What should you look for in a frame that can benefit from our free service
- Check if the glass is cloudy on the inside, it probably needs a clean.
- Are there any insects or pieces of dirt or grime visible?
- Check the back of the frame to see if the brown paper or backing tape are coming away from the frame.
- Is the frame hanging on a threadbare wire or string, it may be time to replace before it comes crashing off the wall?
- Does the artwork itself have any visible signs of insect damage or brown spots which could be foxing, a type of mould that eats the paper away over time?
What can you expect us to do:
- We’ll inspect the frame with you at our store
- The frame will be opened up from the back
- Glass will be cleaned, removing any dirt, grime, fish moths etc
- If the artwork requires an Acid Free backing, it will be added for free up to a glass size of 420mm x 297mm (A3)
- The frame will be refitted and if new hooks or string is required we will add it for free as well
- The back of the frame will be re-sealed with proper framers tape or a new brown paper backing if required.
This is limited offer and expires at the end of August 2017. This promotion is valid from 01 July – 31 August, which gives you a full two months to take advantage of our offer.
